The skies have opened up and Israel receives her first rain of the season, washing away the dust and heat that laid heavy on the country in the summer months. Rains drenched most all of the country overnight, especially central Israel and the Negev, receiving up to 40mm of rain in some areas. We praise God for this abundance of rain! We will continue to pray for another year of His outpouring on this great nation. However, the heavy rain has left many homes with power outages. Please keep these families in your prayers for adequate heat and shelter until the electricity gets turned back on.
