Israel will end the COVID state of emergency on March 1st. The designation, which was initiated in March 2020 as the first cases of coronavirus emerged in the country, gave the government and the Health Ministry significant power to impose severe restrictions on the public. Instead, Israel will be in a “special health situation.” As Israel’s COVID cases significantly drop, and Israel seems to be exiting its 5th wave of the pandemic, it looks as though we are heading towards herd immunity. Israel will also being admitting all tourists regardless of vaccination status as of March 1st. Please continue to pray that Israel will emerge from the pandemic and begin to rebuild our lives. Please also pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they keep a watchful eye on the situation. Lastly, please pray that Israel will begin the long road to economic recovery, especially in the tourism sector.
