בנסיונות ובקשיים פנה לאלוהים

יעקב ה’:12-20

 יעקב  קורא לנו בשעה של נסיון, סבל וקושי לפנות לאלוהים. הוא קורא לנו לזכור שיש לנו שופט עליון טוב ושיש לנו עתיד מדהים יותר מכל דבר רגעי שיש לנו בארץ. הוא מורה לנו להיות נאמנים למילה שלנו תוך שמירה על כל מוצא פינו. עלינו להודות לאלוהים, לקוות אליו, להתוודות על חטאנו ולחזור בתשובה. אנחנו צריכים לוודא שאנחנו בסדר אל מול אלוהים במעשי ידינו, רחשי ליבנו ומחשבותינו. עם כל הקושי שבמצב שאנחנו נמצאים יעקב מעודד אותנו לפנות לאלוהים ולזכור אותו נוכח החושך שאנחנו חווים.

כשאדם אחר עובר קשיים ונסיונות עלינו לזכור שאלוהים הפך את כולנו למשפחה, לגוף, לקבוצה אחת. הוא מצפה מאיתנו לעזור זה לזה בתקופות של קושי וניסיון. הוא קורא לנו להיות אוזן קשבת, מישהו שיכווין ויעזור לאדם אחר עם התמודדות, מאבק וקושי לפנות לאלוהים ולהגיע אליו. אנחנו זקוקים זה לזה בכדי שנוכל להאיר את האור של ישוע על הנסיבות של אנשים אחרים שעוברים קושי וחטא. האם אנחנו נהיה אלו שנדליק את האור?!

איך אנחנו יכולים “להדליק את האור” בחייהם של אחרים?

1. 1. לדבר איתם על האדון ולהפנות את תשומת ליבם לאדון, לחיים ולתקווה שיש בו.
2. להתפלל יחד איתם.
3. לעזור להם לראות את הטוב של אלוהים ולהלל אותו.
4. להיות מקור של ברכה ועזרה פרקטית ובכך להזכיר להם על אדון חייהם.
5. להצביע על תחומים בחייהם שחשוכים ולעורר אותם לידי תשובה באהבה.

 הייתי רוצה לעודד אותנו היום בדבריו של יעקב. אנחנו צריכים לזכור גם במצבים של קושי שיש לנו אבא טוב, שופט עליון ושהדברים שאנחנו חווים היום לא משתווים לנצח שיהיה לנו עם האדון. אני לא עיוור לעובדה שלא פשוט לחיות ולהיות בעלי השקפה כזו אבל עלינו לבקש מהאדון לעזור לנו ולהכין אותנו לזמין של קושי. כל אחד מאיתנו הולך לחוות זמנים כאלו של קושי, נסיון וסבל… אלו יכולים לתפוס אותנו בכל דקה, שנייה בנקודה שהכי פחות ציפינו לה בחיים. הבה נפנה לאדון היום בין אם זה מתוך מקום של נסיון, סבל וקושי ובין אם אנחנו בתקופה שהחיים טובים אלינו ונוכל לבקש מהאדון לחזק ולעזור לנו לבוא הזמן של צרה, סבל וקושי.

In hardships and trials turn to God

James 5:12-20

James calls us in times of hardship, trial and pain to turn to God. He is calling us to remember that we have a good high judge and that we have a greater future then anything we might experience here on earth. He is instructing us to stand up to our word and guard our mouths. We’re to thank God, wait for him with anticipation, confess our sins and repent. In every hardship we face James is encouraging us to turn to God and remember him though the darkness that surrounds us.

When someone else we know is facing hardships and trails we need to remember that God has made us all one body, a family. He is expecting us to help one another during those hard times each one of us faces. God is calling us to have an open ear, to lead and help those who struggle to turn to God and come before him. We need one another in order to shine the light of Yeshua in each circumstance that people face due to hardship and sin. Are we will to do so?!

Who can we shine Yeshua’s light in the lives of others?

1. We can talk with them about the Lord and turn their attention toward him, to the life and hope that is found in him.
2. We can pray with them.
3. We can help them see the goodness of God during these dark seasons and praise him.
4. We can be a source of blessing and practical help to them and by doing so we can remind them of the Lord.
5. We can point out areas in their lives that need to be lighten up and to help them repent for any sin in their lives in need of repentance.

I would like to encourage us through the words of James. We’re to remember during seasons of hardships that we have a good father, a good judge and that we are on our way to eternity with our Lord. I am not oblivious to life’s hardships and that it is not easy to hold such a perception on life, but we’re to ask God to help us and prepare us for the hardships that we might face. Each one of us will go through hardships and trails those can catch us by surprise. Let us turn to God today whether we’re in a place of hardship, trail and struggle or whether we’re in a good season where we can ask God to make us ready for times of hardships and trails.
