חסד אלוהים זמין

 מה היא הבשורה בשלמותה?!

אלוהים חפץ בקשר אישי ואינטימי עם כל אחד מאתנו. עקב החטא אנחנו רחוקים ממנו ולכן הוא שלח קורבן מושלם לישועה של כל אחד מאיתנו. את הקורבן הזה קיבלנו בחסד, מתנה שלא מגיעה לנו. דרך החסד הזה אנחנו נהנים מישועה וקרבה לאדון. האם זו כל הבשורה?!

 אל האפסים ב’:1-10

1 גַּם אַתֶּם שֶׁהֱיִיתֶם מֵתִים בְּפִשְׁעֵיכֶם וַחֲטָאֵיכֶם, 2 בֶּעָבָר הִתְהַלַּכְתֶּם בָּהֶם לְפִי עִדַּן הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, כִּרְצוֹן הַשַּׂר אֲשֶׁר לוֹ הַשִּׁלְטוֹן בִּסְפֵירַת הַבֵּינַיִם וְהוּא הָרוּחַ הַפּוֹעֶלֶת עַתָּה בִּבְנֵי הַמֶּרִי. 3 וְגַם אֲנַחְנוּ כֻּלָּנוּ הָיִינוּ מְעֹרָבִים עִמָּהֶם בֶּעָבָר; עָסַקְנוּ בְּתַאֲווֹתֵינוּ הַבְּשָׂרִיּוֹת, מִלֵּאנוּ אֶת תְּשׁוּקוֹת הַגּוּף וְאֶת דַּחַף הַמַּחֲשָׁבוֹת, וְהָיִינוּ מִטִּבְעֵנוּ בְּנֵי זַעַם כִּשְׁאָר בְּנֵי אָדָם. 4 אֲבָל אֱלֹהִים הַמָּלֵא רַחֲמִים אָהַב אוֹתָנוּ, וּבְאַהֲבָתוֹ הָרַבָּה, 5 אַף כִּי מֵתִים הָיִינוּ בִּפְשָׁעֵינוּ, הֶחֱיָנוּ עִם הַמָּשִׁיחַ — הֵן בַּחֶסֶד נוֹשַׁעְתֶּם! – 6 וְהֵקִים אוֹתָנוּ עִמּוֹ וְהוֹשִׁיבָנוּ עִמּוֹ בַּשָּׁמַיִם, בַּמָּשִׁיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ, 7 כְּדֵי לְהַרְאוֹת בָּעוֹלָמִים הַבָּאִים אֶת שֶׁפַע עֹשֶׁר חַסְדּוֹ בַּטּוֹבָה שֶׁגָּמַל עָלֵינוּ בַּמָּשִׁיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ. 8 הֵן בַּחֶסֶד נוֹשַׁעְתֶּם עַל-יְדֵי הָאֱמוּנָה; וְזֹאת לֹא מִיֶּדְכֶם, כִּי אִם מַתְּנַת אֱלֹהִים הִיא. 9 אֵין זֶה נוֹבֵעַ מִמַּעֲשִׂים, כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יִתְגָּאֶה אִישׁ; 10 שֶׁהֲרֵי מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲנַחְנוּ, בְּרוּאִים בַּמָּשִׁיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ לְמַעֲשִׂים טוֹבִים אֲשֶׁר אֱלֹהִים הֵכִינָם מִקֶּדֶם לְמַעַן נִחְיֶה בָּהֶ.”

 שאול מדגיש את האמת שיש שני אדונים אופציונלים לחיים שלנו- הראשון אל מלא חסד (אלוהים) והשני רודן שכולא אותנו תחת הרצון והשלטון שלו (השטן). אין מצב ביניים ואין מצב שאנחנו איננו נמצאים תחת שלטון של אף אחד. חלקנו עדין חיים תחת השלטון החשאי של הרודן ששולט בחיינו, גונב, הורג ומשמיד את חיינו. חלקנו היינו תחת השלטון של הרודן בעבר והיום אנחנו מתהלכים תחת השלטון של אלוהים המלא חסד.

 נולדנו לעולם חוטא ואנחנו בעלי טבע חוטא בגופנו. החטא שכרו מוות ולכן נולדנו כמתים וכבולים תחת עול של רודן, מעשינו לא היו בשליטתנו ויעודנו היה לקבל את זעם אלוהים בסוף חיינו. אבל אלוהים המלא חסד נתן לנו ישועה והוציא אותנו מהקברים שלנו אל חיים. בחסד שלו הוא נתן לנו את היכולת להתאחד יחד איתו ולחלוק בסמכות שהיא מנת חלקו.

 החסד של אלוהים לא נגמר שם, הוא אינו נחלת עבר בלבד, אלא גם נחלת ההווה.

רבים מאיתנו רואים בחסד זה משהו שניתן לנו בעבר ומבטיח לנו מקום בשמים בעתיד, אבל דבר אלוהים מראה לנו בברור שחסד אלוהים משפיע עלינו גם היום, בהווה, בחיים שלנו בעולם הזה (טיטוס ב’:11-13). החסד לא רק נותן לנו זהות חדשה, אלא גם נותן לנו את היכולת להיות אקטיבים בהליכה שלנו עם אלוהים. ברגע שקבלנו את החסד של אלוהים דרך אמונה אנחנו חלק מתוכניתו ואלוהים ממשיך לתת לנו חסד שנתהלך במעשים שהוא כבר הכין לנו מקדם.

 

אנחנו צריכים לבקש ולאחוז בחסד של אלוהים בכל יום שעובר, בכל בוקר לדרוש אותו.  אנחנו זקוקים לחסד שלו לא רק לישועה, אלא לחיים עצמם. אין בכוחותינו לחיות את החיים ע”פ רצונו ללא חסדו.

 

זו הבשורה הטובה והשלמה שאלוהים המלא חסד אהב אותנו כל כך ולמרות שהיינו חוטאים ולא ראויים לשום דבר טוב, אלוהים שפך עלינו את חסדו וממשיך לשפוך אותו גם היום בחיינו העכשיויים. חסדו לא רק נותן לנו ישועה, שינוי בזהות והיעוד שלנו, אלא מעורר אותנו ועוזר לנו להיות אקטיבים בהתאם לתוכנית המושלמת של אלוהים!

The grace of God is available

What is the full gospel?

God desires a close and intimate relationship with each one of us. Due to sin we are far from him and that is why He sent a holy and perfect sacrifice for the salvation of us all. We have received this sacrifice by grace, it is a gift we do not deserve and through it we have been saved and are close to God.

But is that all the gospel in its fullness? 

 

Ephesians 2:1-10

“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

 

Paul is pointing out the truth that there are two masters that can control our lives. The first is full of mercy (God) and the second is an oppressor that makes us captives under his desires (Satan). There is no middle ground or a reality that we are not under one of those masters. Some of us still live under the oppressor’s reign that steals kills and destroys. Some of us used to live under his reign and today we are walking under the lordship of a god that is full of mercy.

We are born into a sinful world with a sinful nature within our bodies. The price for sin is death and that is why we were born dead and oppressed under the rule of the oppressor, our deeds weren’t under our control and we were heading toward the wrath of God in the end. But God full of mercy has given us salvation and brought us up to life. In his grace he gave us unity with Yeshua and the authority He holds.

The grace of God doesn’t stop there; it’s not something that was only in the past but something that is also for our present lives. Many of us see His grace as something that He has given us in the past and only gives us assurance for our eternal lives in the future, but the word of God shows us clearly that the grace of God affects our lives today (Titus 2:11-13) God’s grace doesn’t only give us a new identity, but also gives us the ability to be active in our walk with God. In the moment that we have received the grace of God through faith we are an active part of His plan and God gives us the grace to walk according to the deeds He has planned for us in the beginning of time.

 

We need to ask for the grace of God every day and every morning. Seek that grace and take hold of it. We need His grace not only for salvation but for our daily lives as well. We don’t have what it takes to walk according to His will without His grace.

This is the good and complete gospel!- God who is full of grace has loved us so much that even though we were still sinners and unworthy of any good things, has pour His grace on us and keeps on pouring it on our lives today as well. His grace doesn’t only give us salvation, a new identity and destiny, but gives us the help we need to be active according to His perfect plan!
