Government Approves Strictest Lockdown Yet

Israeli government officials approved a stringent lockdown starting Friday, Sept. 25th. The entire private sector will be forced to close, which Finance Minister Israel Katz strongly opposes. Such a move will cost the Israeli economy close to an estimated NIS 35 billion (over $10 billion). This stresses an already stressed economy, and will bring further hardship to many struggling families. Israel saw close to 7,000 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus the past two days, which prompted the stricter closure. Please continue to pray for Israel in this difficult time. Please pray for wisdom, health, divine provision, and for people to help those around them in these unprecedented times!
