FIGHTING FOR OUR HOMELAND – DAY 16

Hamas has now fired over 7,000 rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilians. Over 5,000 Israelis have been wounded and the number continues to grow.

Amazingly, two of the hostages being held in Gaza, an American mother and daughter, were released on Friday night and were reunited with their family. The fates of the other 212 hostages is still sadly unclear. Humanitarian aid has also begun to enter Gaza through Egypt.

On Israel’s border with Lebanon, clashes continue. 8 Israelis have now been killed on this front, either from anti-tank missiles shot towards Israel by Hizballah terror cells or in gunfights between infiltrating terrorists and the IDF. 5 others were injured on Sunday. The IDF has now issued orders to evacuate all Israeli towns and settlements within 5 k”m of the Lebanese border, as well as the city of Kiryat Shmona.

Airstrikes continue in Gaza, where a senior Hamas terrorist was killed overnight, and arrests continue in Judea and Samaria, where IDF forces prevented a major terror attack overnight. The IDF also executed airstrikes against two international airports in Syria overnight, reportedly disabling their runways. This is to prevent weapons and terrorists entering Syria and Lebanon from Iran and Iraq.

On the international front, tens of thousands rallied on Saturday in support of Gaza in cities around the world including London, New York, Marseilles, Sydney and throughout the Arab world. However, many continue to support Israel, notably President Biden and the United States, as well as many European governments.

Please continue to pray for protection over Israeli soldiers and civilians and for healing for the injured, including the soldier injured last night. Please pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders. Lastly, please pray for people to awaken to the truth about Israel and for continued international support.
