Late Wednesday night, a homemade explosive was thrown at a stand where an IDF soldier was standing guard near the neighborhood in south Jerusalem called Beit Jala. The soldier was wounded and rushed to the hospital. It is not clear if these attacks over the past several weeks are isolated, “lone wolf” incidents or if there is a larger plot going on. We ask that you would continue to pray over the security situation inside Israel. We pray that these incidents will cease and not deteriorate. Please also pray for the security officials who are making decisions on how to address this issue.
