European Double Standards on Anti-Semitism

A recent study found that many of the same countries who accepted the 2016 International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism – which labels certain forms of criticism against Israel as anti-Semitic – are simultaneously supporting anti-Israel non-governmental organizations (NGOs) financially.

The NGOs in question – including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International – not only consistently accuse Israel of “human rights abuses,” but also campaign against the acceptance of the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism. The reason for their resistance is that should this definition be accepted by the United Nations, their activities could rightly be labeled anti-Semitic.

Please pray that God would open the eyes of these countries. Please also pray that the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism would continue to be accepted by more organizations and governments.
