Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has issued a stern warning that his terror organization will target new areas in Israel with missile attacks if the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue their strikes on Lebanese civilians. This follows recent Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths of five people, including three Syrian children (according to Hezbollah reports). In retaliation, Hezbollah launched 100 rockets into northern Israel, targeting multiple locations over several hours.
The conflict has escalated dramatically over the past two nights. Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets into towns in northern Israel, including Kiryat Shmona, where seven direct hits were recorded. Many rockets were intercepted by Israel’s defense systems, but some managed to cause fires and damage.
In response to the rocket attacks, the IDF announced that it had targeted Hezbollah launchers and terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon. IDF aircraft attacked a terrorist cell in the Yarin area and other Hezbollah military structures. Despite these measures, northern Israeli residents expressed frustration and called for a stronger, more powerful response to Hezbollah’s aggression. They urged the government to take decisive action against Hezbollah to ensure lasting peace. The situation remains tense as both sides brace for further developments.
Please continue to pray as we face a virulent enemy, Hezbollah, who is determined to drag Israel into an all-out war. Please pray for an immediate cessation of hostilities and that all Israelis can return home.
