For the first time in over three months, the IDF successfully rescued two live hostages in an overnight mission in Gaza! Both elderly men were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, along with three family members who were released as part of the hostage deal in November. The two are both dual Israeli-Argentinian citizens and have now been reunited with their families in Israel. Family members said they had lost at least half their body weight.
An Israeli Arab school teacher was arrested late last night along with an additional individual after transferring tens of thousands of shekels to Hamas and plotting to blow up an Israeli munitions factory (among other allegations). Both men held Israeli citizenship and were residents of a town in the Galilee region of northern Israel.
Late last night, two terror attacks were neutralized within minutes of each other, one in Jerusalem and one in Gush Etzion (around 30 minutes from central Jerusalem). A passerby was slightly injured and evacuated for treatment after the Jerusalem attack, which occurred in the Old City. Both terrorists were neutralized.
Following a concerning tweet which appeared to excuse Hamas’ massacre of civilians on October 7th, the UN rapporteur published a clarification tweet worse than the original in which she outright blamed Israel for Hamas’ attack. Earlier this year, she told terror organizations that they had the right to resist. She has now been banned from entering Israel.
Please pray for the recovery of the two released hostages and for the release of those remaining in Gaza! Please pray for deterrence against terror attacks in Israel. Lastly, please pray for accountability for the UN official.
