Day 111 – Hague Decision Expected Tomorrow

The International Court of Justice (ICC or ICJ) is expected to deliver a preliminary ruling tomorrow (Friday) on a ceasefire in Gaza. The preliminary ruling was in accordance with a South African request to put a more immediate constraint on Israel by calling for ceasefire while the lengthier court proceedings on the “genocide” case were conducted.

Additionally, new reports show skyrocketing anti-Semitism in Europe since October 7th, according to domestic reports, specifically in Britain and France. In Britain, one report said that thirteen times more anti-Semitic incidents had occurred since October 7th. In France, the year over year climb between 2022 and 2023 was between three and four times, with most of the jump occurring after October 7th.

For the second day in a row, the Kerem Shalom crossing from Israel into Gaza was blocked by protesters calling for the release of the hostages. Yesterday, only 9 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies crossed into Gaza, a notable decline from previous days. Hostage families reiterated their stance that no aid should enter Gaza until the hostages return home.

Israel revealed this morning a top-secret airstrike on an Iranian air base on Lebanese territory. The base in question holds significant arms caches and flew Iranian flags on its grounds. It was also 20 miles north of Israel’s border with Lebanon, much farther into the latter nation than Israel typically strikes.

Please pray for favor for Israel at the Hague and on the international stage in general. Please pray for action against anti-Semitism in Europe. Lastly, please continue to pray for the immediate release of ALL the hostages from Hamas captivity.
