Every day new reports come out about the shocking and dreadful acts spreading through Iraq and Syria. The fighting has reached the borders of Lebanon and Israel as well. It is easy in these times to let fear of terror and anxiety about the future to come over us. But we serve a God who is Sovereign over all the people and creatures of the Earth. Please pray that we can lift our eyes to heaven and be steadfast in our faithfulness and trust in God. Pray for the divine protection over the innocent lives that stand daily in harms way. “O my God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.” Psalm 25:2-3
