The Temple Mount is a sacred site for both the Jewish and Muslim faiths. It is the site where the Jewish Temple once stood and is believed to stand once more in the future, but currently lies the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. This location has been contested for centuries among all the Abrahamic faiths. For the past several weeks there have been riots by Muslims on the Temple Mount. They are protesting Jewish presence at the site. Security has tightened because of the incidences and police have taken action to limit who is allowed to enter or have temporarily closed access to prevent more uprisings. Please keep this issue in your prayers. This location has great significance for God’s plans for the future. Pray for God’s hand to be over the situation and divine protection for all innocent people. May God’s will be done on this place and in His timing.
