Israel Readies for Possible Response to Syrian Attack: Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said that Israel is readying itself to respond to a Syrian attack if the USA launches a military strike against it. The tensions are very high in the region after last week’s chemical attack launched by Assad against his citizens. The attack claimed hundreds of lives, and many children were also killed. The USA has said that the use of chemical weapons was the “red line” for getting involved in the 2-year-old civil war. Please continue to pray for Israel during this time. Please pray for wisdom, protection, and that we will be a light to the nations in how we handle the conflict. Please also pray for the Syrian people who have suffered for two years, for a revival in that country, and for many to come to faith in Yeshua. For more, see Syrian Threat
Israel to Deport Thousands of Asylum Seekers: In response to terrible living conditions, great poverty, and high crime amongst the community of African asylum seekers from Eritrea and Sudan, Israel will begin to deport them to another country. The deportation will happen after the High Holidays during the month of September. Please pray for God’s protection over these people who have suffered much in their war-torn countries, and in their plight for freedom. Please pray for God’s provision for them in their new homeland, and for a blessing for Israel for granting them asylum when no other country would take them. For more, see Asylum Seekers
Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah. Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.
Thank you for praying! Shabbat shalom…
