Explosions Rock Lebanon:  Twin explosions killed 27 in north Lebanon during the time of prayers at two popular mosques.  The attack is thought to be motivated by rising tensions between Sunnis and Shiites over the Syrian civil war, which is polarizing the country.  This could be the start of something similar in Lebanon, which would put three out of four surrounding countries at war; the chaos is astounding and Israel is very much alone in ensuring her safety at the moment.  Please pray for the Lebanese injured in the attack, for a quick healing, and for comfort for the families of the dead.  Please also pray that as chaos continues to envelop the Middle East, that Israel’s leaders will use wisdom and seek the LORD for direction in this pivotal time.  For more, see Lebanese Attacks

Polio Spreads in Israel:  As school is about to begin next week, children with weak immune systems or immune disorders have been told to stay home until January.  The Polio virus is spreading throughout Israel, although no reports of the actual disease have been made.  Israel has identified carriers of the virus, but no actual symptoms have appeared.  Please pray for God’s protection over Israel and her people from these kinds of illnesses.  Please also pray that our children will be healthy and strong.  For more, see Polio

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Shabbat shalom…
