For the third day in a row there have been riots on the Temple Mount where police and security forces are pelted with stones, blocks, and firecrackers by Palestinian youth. They are trying to create a big scene in order to disrupt the holiday proceedings in the Old City. Also, on Sunday night a car in a Jerusalem neighborhood was pelted with stones and the sixty-year old drive died from his wounds after the attack caused him to lose control of the car and he crashed into an electricity pole. Two other passengers were also injured by the stones that were launched at the car. Please keep the peace of Jerusalem at the center of your prayers throughout these coming days and weeks, especially during the holidays. We ask God for His divine protection and wisdom. Please pray for the family of the elderly man who died and for the two other wounded men in the car.
