בעולם ולא חלק ממנו

השבוע הייתה לנו את הזכות לארח את גוספה במפגש הנוער השבועי שלנו. ג’וספה הגיע לנריה בכדי לחלוק חלק מעדות חייו עם בני הנוער ולאתגר אותם להיות מלח ואור בחברה הישראלית. בנוסף הוא עזר לבני הנוער להבין את הערך והחשיבות שיש להם בעיניי אלוהים והעולם בו הם חיים.

ג’וספה חילק עמנו את העדות האישית שלו וסיפר לנו שבגיל 16 איש אלוהים מאנגליה התנבא עליו ואמר שהוא עתיד לדבר עם שליטים של אומות וממשלות רבות, ואכן דבריו מתגשמים בחייו של ג’וספה. כיום כ-25 שנה לאחר מכן ג’וספה חווה את ההתגשמות של נבואה זו בחייו.

להלן עיקרי דבריו של ג’וספה:

האור מאיר בחוזקה ובעל השפעה הגדולה יותר בהיותו בחשכה. העולם זקוק לנו! העולם נמצא בחשכה ואנחנו חייבים לצאת ולהשפיע באורנו על החברה סביבנו. הרבה פעמים אנחנו מגיעים לאסיפה הקהילתית שלנו ומסתפקים ב”מסיבת האורות” שיש לנו שם, אבל אלוהים קורא לנו לצאת אל העולם ולהשתלב בתחומי בחברה השונים, כגון: בפוליטיקה, במדיה, בעסקים, במוזיקה, באופנה ועוד רבים אחרים. יתרה על כך אנו נקראים לא רק להשתלב בתחומים אלו אלא להיות כנביאים המורים את הדרך ומובילים את כל השאר אחרינו בנתיב ההצלחה והיושר.
לכל אחד ואחד מאיתנו יש חלומות שאלוהים זרע בקרבנו אך כבר מרגע היווצרם האויב מנסה להשחית את אותם החלומות במניעים שליליים של מרדף אחר כוח, כסף וכבוד מאדם (מעמד). העולם הזה דוחף אותנו לרדוף אחר הדברים הללו,אך עלינו להיות שונים מן העולם ולהימנע מהמרדף אחריהם. ברגע שליבנו יהיה נקי מכל אינטרס אישי אלוהים יוכל להגשים את החלומות העצומים שהוא זרע בליבנו לכבודו ולכבוד מלכותו.
“תקופת הכנה” – משך זמן בחיינו שמטרתו להכין אותנו לקראת השלב בו יוכל אלוהים לפעול דרכנו ולהגשים את החלומות ששם בליבנו. בתקופה זו אלוהים מכין אותנו ומסיר מקרבנו כל אהבה לכוח, כסף וכבוד, הוא מלמד אותנו ‘לא לאכול ממאכליו של המלך’ כפי שדניאל עשה.

פעמים רבות אנו מנסים להאיץ בתקופה הזו ואף לדלג עליה אך שלב זה הוא הכרחי כדי להכין אותנו לקראת הקריאה של אלוהים על חיינו.

עלינו לחלום בגדול! אל לנו לזלזל ביכולת של אלוהים לעבוד דרכנו בעולם ובחברה של ימינו. עלינו לשאוף למצוינות בכל דבר שאנחנו עושים. אנחנו אורות רבים שהולכים להשפיע על החברה בה אנחנו חיים, אך תחילה עלינו להיפתר מכל דבר העלול למנוע מאלוהים להשתמש בנו. אלוהים מכין משהו גדול בעבורנו, הבה נחיה את חיינו בציפייה להתגשמותו בחיינו!

In the world but not of the world

we had the privilege of hosting Giuseppe in our youth meeting this week. Giuseppe came to share some of his life’s testimony with the youth and challenge them to be light and salt of the Israeli society today. He also helped the youth understand their value in the eyes of God and the world they live in today.

Giuseppe shared his testimony and told us that at the age of 16 a man of God from England prophesied over his life that he will speak to rulers of many nations and authorities, and these things are coming to pass in his life these days. Today 25 years after that event he is seeing this prophecy come to pass.

There are the main points of what he shared:

The light shines brighter and has more influence in the darkness. The world needs us! The world is in the dark and we need to go out and influence our society with our light. Many times we attend the weekly congregational service and we are satisfied with the “light show” we have there, but God is calling us to go out and take part in different areas of society, such as politics, media, business, music, fashion and many more. Furthermore, we are called to be prophets that show the way and lead others in our footsteps to success and integrity.
We all have dreams that God has planted in our hearts, and from the moment that they are conceived the enemy is try to spoil them with bad motives of a pursuit of money, power and honor (from men). The world pushes us to pursue these things but we need to be different and not run as they do. The moment that our heart would be clean of any selfish motive God can fulfill these big dreams that he has planted in us for his honor and kingdom.
“A season of preparation”- it is a season in our life that its purpose is to prepare us for the right time that God could work through us and fulfill the dreams he put in our hearts. In this season God is preparing and removing any love we have for money, power and honor, he is teaching us that we are not to “eat from the king’s delight” just as Daniel did. Many times we try to quicken this season and even avoid it but it is a critical part so God can prepare us for our life’s calling.

We need to dream big! Let us not underestimate the ability of God to work through us in this world and our society. We need to desire excellence in everything that we do. We are many lights that can influence the society we live in, but first we need to get rid of anything that might prevent God from using us. God is preparing something big for us; let us live with expectation to see it come to pass.
