Israel reported a 50% drop in coronavirus infections among young Israelis. Currently, Israel reports around 1,200 new cases a day. Prof. Eran Segal of the Weizmann Institute attributed the decline in both infections and serious COVID cases to more Israelis of all backgrounds receiving the vaccine. Israel has vaccinated over 3 million citizens with both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Sadly, the virus recently took the life of a pregnant woman, 32, and her unborn baby. According to the Health Ministry, there are 50 pregnant women currently hospitalized due to coronavirus complications. About half of them are in either serious or critical condition. Please continue to pray for Israel as we fight this pandemic. Please also pray for wisdom for Israel’s government as we further emerge from lockdown.
