US Secretary of State in Israel

U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, arrived in Israel Tuesday morning. His purpose is to shore up a lasting ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Upon his arrival, Blinken was greeted by Foreign Minister Gaby Ashkenazi and Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. Gilad Erdan. Blinken plans to also meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, although seeing as how Abbas has virtually no power over Hamas, not much is expected to come of this meeting. Please continue to pray for Israel and wisdom for our governing officials. Please also pray that the United States, which is one of our strongest allies, will see the problem of Hamas, and work to free Gaza from their oppressive rule. Lastly, please keep praying for both Israeli and Palestinian civilians as we rebuild and recover from the last round of deadly fighting between Israel and Palestinian terror groups.
