Ukraine Asks Israel for $500 Million

Ukrainian ambassador to Israel, Yevgen Korniychuk, presented a request to Israeli PM, Naftali Bennett, asking for a $500 million loan. The loan is meant to help Ukraine secure more weapons in it war with Russia, plus help to recover its destroyed economy. Several other countries received similar requests. Japan allocated 600 million dollars, Germany 300 million euros, and Canada 800 million dollars, respectively. At this moment, there is no indication from the Prime Minister’s office that the request will be approved. Please continue to pray for Ukraine and its people during this difficult season of war. Please also pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they face difficult decisions regarding support for Ukraine. Lastly, please continue to pray for the thousands of Ukrainian refugees in Israel as they face the difficult reality of adjusting to a new place while missing their homeland.
