President Joe Biden’s national security advisor, Jack Sullivan, told his Israeli counterpart that the U.S. has other options on the table regarding Iran should diplomacy fail. Israel is very concerned with Iran’s nuclear program development, and has been taking decisive steps to stop it. Sullivan reiterated that the United States is committed to Israel’s security, and will not sit back if Iran achieves a nuclear weapon. U.S. experts believe the time it would take Iran to have enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear bomb has “gone from about 12 months down to a period of about a few months”. This is obviously very concerning for Israel as Iran has repeatedly threatened to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth.” Please pray that the United States and Israel will continue to nurture a warm diplomatic relationship. Please also pray that both countries will do what is necessary to keep Iran from reaching their goal of a nuclear weapon. Lastly, please continue to pray for God’s hand of protection to be over Israel.
