Shalom from Jerusalem!
As we close 2020 and look ahead to 2021, I wanted to take a moment to let you know how grateful I am for your partnership this past year. It was a challenging year on so many levels, from the pandemic, to the economic fallout, to civil unrest, and deeply contested elections. And this was the case not just in Israel, but also in other countries! Our interconnected world caused us to feel the ripple effect of these challenges regardless of where we live.
This year really grew my faith in ways I had not expected. We never want to face hardships, but when we do, it is always an opportunity to see God work and come through in ways that only He can. This was the case for me this past year. Due to the pandemic, I could not travel or host tour groups in Israel - both of which are significant sources of income for the ministry. While I always rely on His provision regardless of circumstances, I had to rely even more heavily on Him this past year. I knew He would meet the needs of both my family and the ministry, but I did not expect Him to do so in such an abundant way.
He did this, in part, through you, and I cannot fully express how thankful I am for your generosity and faithfulness to Hope for Israel! Looking back, I am amazed how we were able to keep every person on staff who desired to keep working; we were able to continue every single project that we had set out to at the beginning of 2020, pivoting where necessary because of the pandemic; we were able to bless hundreds of Israelis from all backgrounds in practical ways; we were able to do our part to build His Kingdom in Israel. Of course, all honor goes to Him! But you were an integral part of His hand of blessing!
Thank you for entrusting your offering to Hope for Israel as we invest in the Kingdom of God in Israel. Your partnership means a great deal to me, and I look forward to continuing it in the year to come.
Here’s to a blessed and fruitful 2021!
In His Service,
