Israel became the first country to administer a third COVID vaccine to immunocompromised individuals. Amid rising infections due to the Delta variant, Israel’s Health Ministry approved giving the booster earlier this week. The Health Ministry released guidelines for the Pfizer booster to be given between 4-8 weeks after the second shot. As of now, a booster is not approved to individuals in good health without underlying conditions. Please continue to pray for Israel as we navigate this third wave of infections. Please also pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they continue to face challenging decisions regarding steps to take to keep the virus from spreading. Lastly, please continue to pray for all who are still out of work due to the pandemic, for God’s provision for them and their families.
