Israel’s teacher’s union is in final negotiations with the Treasury Department over a contract dispute that could likely delay the start of the school year. If an agreement is not met, teachers will strike, which means school will not start on September 1st. According to reports, very little progress has been made in the negotiations. Please pray that this strike will be averted, especially considering the difficulty it will present to parents and children alike. Please pray for a favorable agreement to be reached and that both sides will be willing to compromise. Lastly, please pray that after a difficult two years due to COVID lockdowns, children will have a regular, uninterrupted school year.
