The last major holiday in the High Holy Day season, Sukkoth, begins at sundown. Traditionally, this is a time when Jewish families invite friends and loved ones to sit in their Sukkah. Sadly, this year will be another isolated holiday, as Israel has forbidden anyone outside the immediate household to enter a sukkah. Please continue to pray for those who are lonely in this holiday season. Please pray for the Lord’s presence to be felt, and for a quick resolution to this difficult season. Please also pray for protection over the mental and emotional health of Israelis in this holiday season. Lastly, please pray that the intimate family celebrations within the home will be meaningful and precious despite not being able to gather with extended family and friends.
