Simchat Torah

Tonight, Israel enters the 8th day of the Sukkot holiday, called “Shminei Atzeret”. This is a special holiday because it is the only one of the biblically appointed times that falls on the 8th day. It has special prophetic significance, too. Many understand that the number 8 represents new beginnings, and this holiday, in particular, points to the Messianic age that the Hebrew prophets write of. It is also a time when Jewish people throughout the world celebrate the Torah, and dance festively around the scroll in synagogues. Please pray for peaceful celebrations, without any terror attacks. Please also pray that as we celebrate under the shadow of COVID, that we will remember the gift of God’s teachings (Torah) to guide us in our lives. Lastly, please pray for a revelation of Messiah during this season!
