A shooting attack in northern Samaria early Tuesday afternoon resulted in the serious injury of an Israeli man in his thirties. The man received initial first aid at the entrance to an Israeli settlement before paramedics arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, the IDF began a manhunt for the drive-by shooter.

The head of the Samarian regional council commented that the attack occurred after the removal of an IDF check post at the site of the shooting. He called on IDF forces to replace the check post. Hamas praised the terrorist’s “resistance.”

One soldier was injured by shrapnel during searches for the shooter in a nearby Palestinian city.
