Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov summoned Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Alex Ben-Zvi, in order to condemn Israel’s strike on Syria’s airport. The strike, which took place on June 10, seriously damaged Damascus International Airport’s runway. The airport has been closed since. Israel claims that illegal smuggling of weapons and contraband for the Iranians was being carried out on domestic flights in and out of Syria. Israel has made it clear that it will do everything it can to keep Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Please pray for the tense situation between Israel, Syria, and Russia. Please pray for wisdom for Israeli officials in handling these matters. Lastly, please pray that Iran will not achieve its goal of a nuclear weapon, and that any country helping it to do so will be held accountable.
