Rosh Hashana 5782

Rosh Hashanah – the Feast of Trumpets – begins at sundown today. Tonight, the year 5782 begins, per the Hebrew calendar. It is a time when family and friends traditionally gather together over festive tables, remembering what God has done for us over the past year. It also begins the period of the 10 Days of Awe, where we reflect and repent before our Creator. This year, the shadow of COVID still looms large, and many families are either in isolation due to infection or exposure to the virus. Israel is also still in the fourth wave of the pandemic, but thankfully, the number of new infections are going down. Please pray for a peaceful time of celebration for all Israel! Please also pray for a sweet new year ahead, and that we will overcome this pandemic. Lastly, please pray for all who are in this season of repentance, that they would find true redemption in Messiah!
