Prayer Focus: Standing in the Gap
We invite you to stand with us in prayer for Israel and the region in this time.
“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night.” Isaiah 62:6
Northern Front
- For protection over northern communities, especially families and children living under ongoing threat. Pray for protection in the moments people are outside, on the roads, or in open areas where there is little or no shelter.
- For the soldiers holding the line, operating inside southern Lebanon. Pray for wisdom, alertness, and protection as they face daily threats from drones, missiles, and ongoing attacks.
- For true stability, not just a “ceasefire” on paper. Pray for decisions that lead to real security in the north, where the threat is removed and communities are no longer living with the expectation of the next escalation.
- For civilians in southern Lebanon who are living under the reality created by Hezbollah, that they would be protected and that Hezbollah would be removed from its position of power and control.
Home Front
- For families across Israel who are trying to return to routine while knowing how quickly things can change.
- For business owners and employees who are trying to keep things going in the middle of uncertainty, missed work, and ongoing disruptions.
- For stability in daily life, that schools, workplaces, and essential systems would continue to function even as the situation remains fragile.
- For strength in the daily pressure, that people would be able to keep going, making decisions, working, and caring for their families in the middle of ongoing uncertainty.
Gaza Front
- For protection over Israeli communities and soldiers facing ongoing threats from Gaza, including attempts to regroup, rearm, and carry out attacks.
- For exposure and disruption of terror activity, that plans, weapons, and hidden infrastructure would be identified and stopped before reaching Israeli civilians.
- For decisions that prevent Hamas from rebuilding its capabilities and creating another round of attacks against Israel.
- For civilians in Gaza who are living under Hamas and other terror organizations, that they would be protected and that these groups would no longer be able to continue controlling or operating within Gaza.
Iranian Front
- For wisdom for leaders involved in negotiations with Iran, and that any agreements or proposed truces would not allow ongoing nuclear threats, regional aggression, or support for terror activity to continue unchecked.
- For protection over Israel, the United States, and allied forces facing ongoing threats from Iran, including missiles, drones, and coordinated activity across the region.
- For exposure and disruption of what Iran is building and planning, that it would be stopped before it reaches others across the region or impacts more lives.
- For Iran not to be able to continue its aggression, and that it would be stopped from strengthening or expanding its ability to act.
- For the Iranian people, many of whom are living under internal repression, that they would be strengthened, and that the regime would not be able to continue its control and actions that impact both its own people and the region.
International Front
- For protection over Jewish communities worldwide.
- For security in synagogues, schools, and public spaces.
- For clarity and truth where Israeli and Jewish communities are being misrepresented, and that false narratives would be exposed and not shape decisions or public response.
Soldiers
- For the soldiers operating across different fronts under constant pressure.
- For protection in body and mind.
- For clarity in the moments where decisions have to be made quickly.
Wounded and Bereaved
- For healing for wounded soldiers, physically and mentally.
- For those dealing with trauma and PTSD.
- For families who have lost loved ones, that they would be carried through the grief.
Healing from Trauma and PTSD
- For those still carrying the impact of October 7 and everything that has followed.
- For soldiers and veterans whose experiences are not left behind when they leave the battlefield.
- For healing in the places people do not talk about, where fear, memory, and exhaustion continue.
- For the next generation, that fear would not take hold, and that they would grow up with strength and not be shaped by this reality.
Hostages and Survivors
- For those who returned from captivity and are now beginning recovery.
- For healing in the places that are not visible.
- For protection over them as they begin to speak about what they went through.
Leadership
- For Israel’s leaders as they make decisions in a very sensitive moment.
- For wisdom to know when to act and when to hold back.
- For decisions that lead to real security, not temporary quiet that allows threats to rebuild.
- For leaders in the United States and around the world, that decisions would not be driven by pressure or confusion, but would contribute to stability and clarity in this situation.
Unity in Israel
- For unity among the people and leadership.
- For division not to weaken the country in this time.
- For strength and shared responsibility.
Spiritual Awakening
- For people across Israel and the region to turn to God.
- For truth to be seen clearly in the middle of everything.
Looking Forward
- For strength for what is still ahead.
- For a future built on real security, not temporary quiet.
- For hope to remain, even in this season.
