New Survey Finds Quarter of Europeans Somewhat Anti-Semitic

A new survey published by the ADL this week found that 1 out of 4 Europeans believed at least 6 out of 11 common anti-Semitic tropes to be true. These tropes include conspiracies about Jewish power and the belief that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their home countries. The survey also found that Europeans are generally more sympathetic towards Palestinians than towards Israelis; however, most do not support the BDS movement.

Additionally, 19% of those polled in certain Eastern European countries agreed with the statement, “the Holocaust is a myth.”

This comes as the Biden Administration released its new program for combatting anti-Semitism, which uses a definition of anti-Semitism which some say could normalize extreme anti-Israel rhetoric.

Please pray for safety for those working to combat anti-Semitism. Please pray for improved education about anti-Semitism and the Holocaust worldwide. Lastly, please pray that God would open people’s eyes to see the truth about Israel and the Jewish people.
