Israeli President, Reuven Rivlin, reluctantly tasked current Prime Minister Netanyahu with forming the next government. Rivlin conducted interviews with heads of the political parties that will be part of the next Knesset, and Netanyahu received recommendations from 52 lawmakers in the 120-member Knesset. Rivlin made a statement in which he urged for unity for the sake of the people. The chances that Netanyahu will be able to form a government are quite low, and it looks like Israel might have a fifth election. Please continue to pray for Israel’s political situation, especially as chaos envelops the government right now. Please also pray for wisdom for the Israeli people as we may need to go back to the polls to vote once again.
