PM Netanyahu hosted a press conference on Tuesday stating he will not try to form a government. Instead, he seeks to have a direct election where the Prime Minister will be elected. Netanyahu no longer sees any chance of forming a government, although he intends to maintain his mandate to form a government, which expires on May 4. Various Knesset members said this would bring Israel to the brink of anarchy. Israel currently has no functioning government, which leaves the country vulnerable to various hostilities. Please continue to pray for Israel in this tough time. Please pray for a clear path to a new government, and that we will not need 5th elections.
