Foreign Ministers from Morocco, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA are in Israel for the Negev Summit in Sde Boker. This initiative by Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, seeks to strengthen ties between Israel and these Abraham Accord countries while presenting a united front against Iran. Iran is the rogue power in the Middle East, and most countries do not want to see it achieve a nuclear weapon. A defense alliance came up in Lapid’s first meetings at the historic meeting, with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri and his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif Al Zayani. The meetings have been reportedly warm and friendly. Please pray for viable solutions to difficult problems facing the Middle East during this summit. Please also pray for a united effort to stop Iran from achieving a nuclear weapon. Lastly, please pray that this will be the start of a strong military alliance between Israel and fellow countries in the Middle East.
