Muslims celebrating the Eid al-Adha

The Eid al-Adha is one of two of the most important festivals in Islam. It means “Festival of Sacrifice,” commemorating the time, according to the Quran, when Allah spoke to Ibrahim in a dream and asked him to sacrifice his son, Ishmael. We know that this is an askewed version of the Biblical account of Abraham and Isaac. Muslims celebrate this festival by sacrificing sheep, goats and cows. In some Muslim countries this is done publicly in the streets for all to see. We ask that you intercede with us for the Muslim world that during this time of Eid al-Adha that Muslims will receive a revelation of who was sacrificed for their sins and come to true faith and belief in the One True God.
