The Temple Mount is the holiest site to Judaism as it is where the two temples were built, but it is also where the Muslims believe Mohammad ascended to Allah, so they have built a shrine and a mosque on the site. While Israel has security rights to the Temple Mount, the Muslims have religious rights because of the mosque and the Dome of the Rock residing there. Since Ramadan began, the visiting hours of non-Muslims have been cut short, and for the last two days, Muslim rioters have blockaded themselves inside the Mosque, also while violently attacking Israeli security forces and non-Muslim visitors. Please pray for the situation to quiet down and for no injuries or deaths to occur. Please pray for safety of all visitors to the site as well as in the Old City of Jerusalem, which borders the Temple Mount. Lastly, please continue to pray for Yeshua – the Prince of Peace – to reign in the hearts of Jew and Arab alike, so that we may find peace between one another.
