Israel has agreed to bring Moroccan workers into its construction and nursing sectors. Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked made the announcement during a recent visit to Rabat. Israel and Morocco normalized diplomatic relations in December 2020 as part of the Abraham Accords. This historic process between the Jewish state and several Arab countries has opened economic and diplomatic doors for the countries involved. Israel has never seen this level of participation among so many Arab countries. Israel faces a shortage of Arabic-speaking nurses, so this move will help to rectify that. Israel relies heavily on Palestinian labor for construction, so it will be interesting to see how this new move will affect the relationship between the PA and Israel. Please pray that this program will be successful for both Israel and Morocco. Please also pray for a smooth transition for the Moroccan workers in Israel.
