Shabbat Chol HaMoed Sukkot
Torah: Exodus 32:12 – 34:26
Haftarah: Ezekiel 38:18 – 39:16
In a time when truth is being redefined and faith tested, there comes a moment when silence is no longer neutral.
Make a choice.
These words came to my heart this morning, and again as I sat to write this commentary. They echo like a divine challenge, not only to me, but to all who claim to love the One and Only true God.
I ask you to read this with an open heart. If it stirs discomfort or anger, go to Scripture and wrestle with it. If it affirms what you know to be true, then share it, because this is not a minor theological debate. This is one of the defining spiritual dividing lines of our time.
A few years ago, I shared a message in the U.S. in which I said: “The next great dividing issue within the Body of Messiah will be Israel.” Today, I believe we are seeing that prophecy unfold.
There is growing confusion, even among those who identify as believers, about Israel’s place in God’s plan. Questions arise: Is God still faithful to Israel? Has His covenant been replaced? Does modern Israel have any prophetic significance?
The answers are not found in opinion or politics. They are written plainly in Scripture. The faithfulness of God does not expire. In this week’s special reading, we find a truth that cannot be revoked: God remains faithful to His people, Israel.
Moses stood before God, pleading for mercy after Israel’s rebellion with the golden calf. He prayed:
Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, ‘With evil intent He brought them out to kill them in the mountains’? Turn from Your fierce anger and relent concerning this harm to Your people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Yourself and said, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’”
Exodus 32:12-13
And Scripture continues:
So the LORD relented…
Exodus 32:14
Even in Israel’s darkest hour, when sin and rebellion provoked divine judgment, God’s covenant love remained. He disciplined, yes. But He never abandoned. God’s faithfulness to Israel is not conditioned on Israel’s faithfulness to Him; it flows from His character and His oath. His “I will” still stands.
Will you love what He Loves?
Those who claim to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob must decide: Do we love what He loves? You cannot claim to love the Lord while rejecting His covenant people. Israel is central to His redemptive story, past, present, and future.
Is Israel perfect? No. Have we made mistakes? Yes. But God’s plan for Israel is eternal, and the very existence of modern Israel is living proof that His promises are alive and unbroken.
For those who trust in the Word of God, the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland is not a coincidence of history but a confirmation of His promises. Every sunrise over Jerusalem, every Israeli learning the Word of God, every family rebuilding the land once laid waste, all testify to this truth: the God of Israel keeps His word.
Whose Camp Will You Stand In?
As we read from Ezekiel 38–39, we are reminded that God’s ultimate judgment will reveal to the nations who truly is Lord. The prophet writes:
And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Ezekiel 39:7
This prophecy speaks of a future day, a day of reckoning, when God Himself will defend His people against the forces of darkness. He will not share His glory with those who mock His name, nor will He allow His covenant to be erased by human opinion or political pressure.
So I implore you again: make a choice.
Will you stand with the God of Scripture, the God who keeps His word to Israel, or with the world that seeks to redefine Him? Because His judgment is coming. And when it does, neutrality will not be an option.
As Joshua once said, “Choose this day whom you will serve.” (Joshua 24:15) The call is the same now as it was then. There is no middle ground.
Sukkot, The Feast of Tabernacles, reminds us that God dwells among His people. It is a celebration of His presence, His faithfulness, and His promise to restore all things. In this season, as we sit beneath the branches of the sukkah and gaze through its open roof toward the heavens, let us remember: the God who led Israel through the wilderness still leads His people today.
His covenant stands. His Word endures. His faithfulness remains.
So make your choice, not based on trends, politics, or comfort, but on truth.
Because when the dust settles, there will only be two camps: those who stand with the God of Israel, and those who stand against Him. And those who stand with Him will see His glory revealed, just as He promised.
Shabbat Shalom,
Moran

We stand with God of Israel. From victory in Yeshua . Until all Hear Shema . Blessing Beloved Family of God. Shalom Isaiah 62
I “argue” this point in comment sections under various articles. I hear various replies.
“The people living in Israel are not descendants of the people of Israel in the Bible.”
“The Jews are no longer God’s chosen people since they reject him.”
I don’t know how to even begin with people who contradict the direct statements of God Himself – His promises to Israel FOREVER.
People are blinded, deceived, willing to believe anything but the truth.
It seems hopeless to break through the lies that people believe. God is truly the only hope. I pray He will give me words to say that will make them think.
