Despite the fact that the rate of positivity for coronavirus had dropped to 4.9%, the lowest since early July, Israel’s governing body decided to extend the lockdown until Sunday at midnight. They hope this will further decrease morbidity in the country. Israel still has the highest rate of morbidity per capita, and the health care system is increasingly overloaded. Israel will need to exit this current lockdown slowly, and areas of high infection will continue to be under lockdown. Please continue to pray for wisdom for Israel’s governing body, and for miraculous provision for all struggling to put food on the table. Please also pray for healing for those infected and for a continued drop in new cases.
