A very large forest fire has been raging for the past 6 hours in the forest surrounding the western neighborhoods of Givat Shaul and Har Nof in Jerusalem.  Homes are in danger as well as commercial buildings.  Residents and employees of local businesses have been evacuated.  This has been an especially bad fire season for Israel; over a dozen wildfires have broken out and ruined hundreds of acres of forest throughout Israel in the past couple of months.  Please pray for protection from further fires, as well as protection over Israel’s firefighters fighting on the ground and in the air.  Please also pray that the current fire will be contained quickly without any further damage.
