Please keep Adam Hassin and people like him in your prayers. A Kurdish Israeli Jew, Adam had travelled to Iraq to visit his grandparents there and to join the Peshmerga (a Kurdish force fighting ISIS). His identity as an Israeli Jew was recently discovered and he was put in an Iraqi prison and is currently facing a death sentence because of an altercation that took place when his identity was discovered. There are about 100,000 Kurdish Jews living in Jerusalem alone and many more Kurdish Jews in Israel. The plight of the Kurdish people is no distant reality to Israelis. Please pray for Adam and for Kurdish Jews like him who are risking their life to stand up for the Kurds against ISIS.
