An Israeli woman was stabbed while walking her children to school early Wednesday morning. The assailant, a Palestinian teenager, was caught hiding in a nearby school. The attack occurred in the disputed Sheik Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem. The woman was lightly wounded, and is expected to recover physically, but the emotional trauma of the event will take longer to heal from. Please pray for a full physical and emotional recovery of the woman, and also for her children who are no doubt traumatized. Please also pray for the Palestinian youth who felt compelled to attack this woman in front of her children, for a miracle of restoration in his heart. Lastly, please also continue to pray that rising tensions between Israelis and Palestinians will ease and that we will seek effective ways to find peace between one another.
