An 18-year-old Israeli soldier, Noa Lazar, was killed by a Palestinian terrorist while she was on duty at the Shuafat checkpoint in East Jerusalem. The terrorist approached the checkpoint on foot, opened fire, and then sped away in a car that was waiting for him. Noa died from her wounds immediately; a 30-year old security guard also injured in the attack, remains in serious condition in the hospital. Please pray for the Lazar family as they mourn the senseless loss of their beloved daughter. Please also pray for a full recover for the injured security guard. Lastly, please pray that Israel will quickly bring the shooter to justice. May the Lord comfort all who mourn!
