Israeli Man Injured in Stabbing

Around 17:oo Wednesday evening a rancher in Judea was stabbed in his upper body by a presumed terrorist carrying a knife.  Paramedics who were called to the site found him fully conscious. They administered emergency first aid care and evacuated him to the closest hospital in Be’er Sheva.

The unknown perpetrator was neutralized, apparently by the rancher himself, before security forces and paramedics arrived at the scene.

Lone-wolf attacks like this are often far more difficult to apprehend than larger, planned terror operations, due to the fact that the perpetrator usually works alone and often does not actively owe allegiance to a terrorist group prior to the attack. This marks the first terror attack since the double bombing in Jerusalem at the end of November, which killed two.

Please pray for the speedy recovery of the man who was stabbed. Please pray for wisdom and alertness for Israeli security forces, who work tirelessly to prevent and deter attacks like this. Lastly, please pray for peace for the people of Israel!
