Yair Lapid, Israel’s Foreign Minister, landed in Bahrain to open Israel’s first ever embassy in the country. This move is the fruit of the Abraham Accords instituted by former American President Trump. Bahrain is the second Gulf country to establish diplomatic ties with Israel, which is generally seen as a positive move by both countries. It will open up economic ties which will benefit both Israel and Bahrain. Please pray that this historic move will create mutual beneficial opportunities for both countries. Please also pray that more Muslim-majority countries will follow suit. Lastly, please pray that Bahrain will experience a great blessing for their courage to establish ties with Israel, despite much opposition from within.
