Researchers at Tel Aviv University announced a breakthrough RNA-based drug delivery system to target diseased cells specifically. This drug therapy could improve the treatment of all kinds of cancers, different inflammatory diseases and viral diseases – including coronavirus. This exciting therapy resulted from the team’s ability to deliver antibodies directly to the right cells, versus every single cell in the body. Although it will be two to three years before this treatment could be approved for human use, it is promising.
