For the first time, a commercial flight by Israeli carrier El Al was allowed to pass through Sudanese airspace en route to Uganda. This is yet another result of the advancement of diplomatic ties between the Israel and Sudan. The same flight will return to Israel with 153 Ugandan nationals who are coming to Israel to learn advanced agricultural techniques. This is sponsored by the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
