Israel To Shut Down Airport

The government is closing Israel’s only international airport starting Tuesday until the end of the nationwide lockdown on January 31. The move aims to “seal” the state after UK, South-African and California mutations of COVID-19 were detected in the country. Israel’s public health chief said that in order to be effective, the airport should remain closed for one month. This would allow for Israel to vaccinate the majority of the population and “buy time”. This is unlikely, however. The mutations are thought to be responsible for the increase in seriously ill patients despite the drop in overall new infections. Please continue to pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders in these unprecedented times. Please also pray for strength for Israelis as we are growing weary from the restrictions and lockdowns. Lastly, please pray for healing for all who are infected!
