Israel to Scrap Outdoors Mask Mandate

Beginning Sunday, Israelis will no longer be required to wear masks outdoors. After one year of being required to do so, Israelis are one step closer to emerging from the pandemic. This is great news! Minister of Health, Yuli Edelstein, said, “The infection rate in Israel is very low thanks to our successful vaccination campaign, and therefore more easing of restrictions can be offered. I ask you to still be equipped with a mask when entering confined spaces. Together we will keep the infection rate low.” Israel will still require masks for indoor use for the foreseeable future. Please continue to pray for Israel as we take more steps for emerge from the pandemic. Please also pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they still face difficult decisions that affect the everyday lives of millions of people.
