Israel Responds to Lebanese Attack

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck rocket launching sites in Lebanon in response to rockets that were fired into northern Israel. While no specific group has taken responsibility for the attack, Israel confirmed the rockets came from an area under the control of Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants. Fortunately, the rockets did not cause any casualties or damage to buildings. They did, however, ignite brush fires in the northern town of Kiryat Shmona. Tensions between Lebanon and Israel are high after Iranian attacks on Israeli interests in recent weeks. Please pray for a cooling down of tensions between the two countries. Please also pray that Israel’s military will be ready for whatever Iranian-backed groups will throw at them. Lastly, please pray for protection over Israel in these trying times!
